OwlCrate – Classic Remix

First of all I want to apologize that I messed up my usual blogging schedule but life has been hectic lately that I didn’t have time to blog or schedule as I usually do so I will post as I find time. Anyway I finally had the time to get my OwlCrate from the post office and it’s been sitting in my living room for about a week since I went to UAE couple of days ago. The theme of the month is Classic Remix and I’m so excited to check what’s inside the box.

Phantom of the Opera inspired magnet from Sweet Sequels

I’ve been into magnets lately since I got few recently and I instantly stick them to my fridge. I love the drawing on it and also how it’s in a beautiful purple color, love it.

The Little Prince from First Edition Tea Co

I’m not exactly a fan of mint teas but I do like the idea that it’s inspired by The Little Prince, I’ll probably give this to someone who likes such teas.

Calendar by Obvious State

This calendar is gorgeous, it has a quote from a classic book in every month page with a beautiful design inspired by the book. I instantly thought of putting it in my office desk and I love it.

The Secret Garden Soap by Tea Soap Books

The soap looks like an open book and it smells really nice, it’s white tea and berries scented. I gave it to my husband since he really love soaps, not his favorite scent but he said he likes it.

Slaughterhouse Five bookmark by Lexy Olivia

I’m really in love with this bookmark, I love the quote on it and the colors are stunning. Yes, I’m a total bookmark hoarder by now.

Finally the book of the month RoseBlood by A.G Howard

Rune, whose voice has been compared to that of an angel, has a mysterious affliction linked to her talent that leaves her sick and drained at the end of every performance. Convinced creative direction will cure her, her mother ships her off to a French boarding school for the arts, rumored to have a haunted past.

Shortly after arriving at RoseBlood conservatory, Rune starts to believe something otherworldly is indeed afoot. The mystery boy she’s seen frequenting the graveyard beside the opera house doesn’t have any classes at the school, and vanishes almost as quickly as he appears. When Rune begins to develop a secret friendship with the elusive Thorn, who dresses in clothing straight out of the 19th century, she realizes that in his presence she feels cured. Thorn may be falling for Rune, but the phantom haunting RoseBlood wants her for a very specific and dangerous purpose. As their love continues to grow, Thorn is faced with an impossible choice: lead Rune to her destruction, or save her and face the wrath of the phantom, the only father he’s ever known.

I’ve been a fan of the Phantom of The Opera so this is quite exciting for me. The book cover is gorgeous and I’m really interested in reading it. As usual it came with a letter from the author and a signed bookplate which I already stuck in the book.

Overall, I wasn’t really impressed with the contents of the box but also not disappointed. I could say I have mixed feelings about it yet OwlCrate will stay as one of my favorite subscription boxes.

Tomorrow I’ll be choosing the winner of my 200 follower giveaway so be sure to comment on the blog post before tomorrow night and good luck to everyone who entered.
